Graphic Communication Project realized for Texlum a lightning startup based in Venice, Italy.
Texlum’s pioneers, Andrea Favaretto Rubelli and Stefano Pranovi, believe in the power of light.
Their passion for light, design, technology, and Venice, were the driving force for the creation of Texlum.
Brand’s name results from weaving the two latin words for text (which also means textile) and light: ‘’textum’’ & ‘’lumen’’.
Its product is called Eccentrica Portami. “She/It” is a portable battery lamp that emits a warm soft, dimmable light, resulting from the balanced fusion of direct and reflected rays; just like the ones irradiated by the sun on Venetian façades, reflected on stones and water, emphasizing their peculiar irregulaties and fascinating details.
The design of Eccentrica Portami is inspired by the asymmetry that makes Venetian gothic architecture so unique in its resemblance of human and natural proportions.
